ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator with expertise in data projects to support a large-scale initiative within the financial services and insurance sector. You will play a critical role in ensuring project alignment, financial accuracy, and efficient team operations. This is a dynamic role that requires strong coordination skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with JIRA and data technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide project support to the overall project team
- Monitor forecast vs actual spend, addressing under/over spends with relevant teams
- Ensure JIRA alignment, guiding teams on best practices and maintaining guiderails
- Resolve PPM queries and provide general support for project management tools
- Assist with onboarding new team members and resource administration
- Coordinate quarterly planning sessions and manage post-planning collation
- Manage operational reporting user access and support team reporting needs
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Coordinator on complex technology projects
- Strong background in data technologies and projects (e.g., data platforms, migrations)
- Experience within the insurance or financial services sector
- Ability to manage project financials, including forecasting and budget tracking
- Experience with resource forecasting, change management, and team administration
- Proficiency in JIRA, including managing EPICS, backlogs, and general support for the project team
